3D Letters Logo Sign Installation

We recommend three primary methods of mounting 3D Letters: stud mounting, flex pad, and locking hole slot. There are other mounting methods in addition to these three, but they leave the fasteners exposed, so we do not recommend them.

Your 3D Letters should look exactly as they were designed. No hardware should be displayed. Use one of the following three hidden mounting methods to make sure your 3D Letter looks exactly as you think it should.

• Stud Mount: In this method, you attach a threaded metal stud to the mounting block on the back of the letter. Then, you use a caulking gun to fill the holes in the wall with silicone. Finally, the stud is inserted into the hole that is now filled with silicone adhesive. Once the silicone is dry, the installation is complete.
• Flex-pads: In this method, you screw pads made of plastic or metal onto the studs on the back of the 3D Letters. Then, the adhesive is added to the pads and the letters are mounted to the surface where they are to be installed. Once the letters are installed, tape them into place while the adhesive dries. Once the adhesive dries, the installation is complete.
• Lock Hole Slots: In this method, you secure the screws to the wall at the locations indicated by the template. Then, the locking hole slots on the back of the letters are placed over the screws on the wall until they are locked in place. To tighten the screws, a special type of fastener is required.

How to make 3D Acrylic Illuminated Letters

• 1. The metal sheet and translucent acrylic are cut by a computer-controlled laser machine based on vector design files(.cdr/.eps/.ai/.scv, etc.), creating the front face and back case of channel letters.
• 2. The returns are stuck at the front face by bending a 2-3 inch wide (50–80 mm) acrylic strip to form the 3D letter shape. That can be painted colors based on PMS for returns a non-luminous effect.
• 3. Waterproof LED modules are installed on the back bottom case and screwed with the letter shape.
• 4. When illuminated at night, channel letters draw the eyes of passers-by.
